We’ve rolled out several important updates to the Raily Edigest email system and site features. Here’s what changed:

👤 Admin Opt-Out Feature

Admins can now manually manage who receives Raily Edigest emails directly from the WordPress admin.

📍 Where to Find It

Users → All Users → “📬 Raily Edigest” column

📋 What You Can Do

• See user status: ✅ Subscribed or 🚫 Unsubscribed
• Click [Unsubscribe] to opt a user out
• Click [Re-subscribe] to opt them back in
• Confirmation notices appear when actions are taken

📬 Duplicate Emails Fixed

Problem: Some users were receiving two copies of the Raily Edigest email at the same time.

🔍 Root Cause

• The admin email was being sent twice — once from the user loop and once from a separate admin send
• The two sends had different content, causing confusion

✅ What We Did

• Admin is now skipped in the user loop
• Admin receives only one email from the separate admin send
• Both user and admin emails now use the same content

Status: ✅ Fixed

📝 Request Word Button

Problem: The “Request Word” button was taking users to a page that said “no listings create one” and looping back.

🔍 Root Cause

• The button was pointing to a URL/slug that didn’t have a corresponding page
• The page needed the correct template and shortcode to display the form

✅ What We Did

• Created a page with the matching slug
• Assigned it the “Decoded Word” page template
• The template now displays the request word form shortcode

Status: ✅ Fixed
